hartknyxHi, creator! I'm new to fan exchanges but I fell hard for Guardian and I'm excited for this ♥
Request: Guardian drama or novel; I'm familiar with and love both!
Prompt 1: SID found family
FOUND FAMILY. TEAM SHENANIGANS. my absolute favorite part of Guardian is the SID team and their comfort with and love and support for each other. I would love absolutely anything that celebrates the SID as a team, whether it's a tribute to their (relatively) quiet late nights in the office or chaotic shenanigans out in the field.
If you're doing something that you create from scratch, here are a few prompts, or feel free to go your own direction:
- Have them put Shen Wei through a (lighthearted) hazing ritual! How would Chu Shuzhi feel about that if he knows his secret identity at that point? Did Sang Zan have to go through one too?
- Have Lin Jing decide to spice up some gourmet catnip for Da Qing; maybe he tries to rope in Professor Shen's science expertise.
- What rule, written or unwritten, has each of them forced the rest of the team to enact?
- What does it look like if Lin Jing tries to take a selfie with the entire team (together or separately)?
If you're doing something that draws on show footage, here are some of my favorite team moments off the top of my head:
- Lin Jing's popcorn machine
- Guo Changcheng being welcomed to the team (Zhao Yunlan's little portable stereo just for the occasion...)
- Any and every team dinner
- That one case where they all had personality swaps
- Da Qing being a pesky cat, especially to Zhao Yunlan (this happens a lot more in the novel but it just cracks me up too much not to mention)
- Every time the team looks out for each other (lbr, this is mostly Lao Chu and Xiao Guo)
Honestly anything that centers the full team more or less equally will thrill me (and background ships are great!).
Prompt 2: Guo Changcheng & Chu Shuzhi
As of last month there are only two works on AO3 tagged 'Guo Changcheng & Chu Shuzhi' but not 'Guo Changcheng/Chu Shuzhi'. Look, I ship them, but I platonic-ship them even more; imo their protective dynamic and how important they are to each other completely transcends whether they have romantic feelings or not. I'd love love love to see something, anything, that celebrates the found brotherhood they had in the show, or leans into the ambiguousness of their relationship in the novel.
(I checked 'romance' here too because if that doesn't work for you, I'd also be happy to see more ship content for these two! Personal preference is that romance is secondary or incidental to the strength of their bond, but work with what inspires you~)
Things I love:
Basically every romcom trope, complicated feelings that don't fit clean labels, humor and lightheartedness
Things I don't love:
Homophobia, soulmates, A/B/O, pregnancy, infidelity, too much serious business
Media wants:
Gosh just about anything! Art, fic, a meme redraw, a drawn comic, a comic made from screenshot collages, a vid, something off-the-beaten-path, IDC get creative!!
